Max Deitchler is a father, husband, small business owner, and attorney who lives in Fayetteville with his wife (Rachel), dog (Roxi), and daughter. Max is from Eureka Springs and is the son of a public school teacher and a carpenter. He grew up camping, floating, hiking, and exploring the Ozarks.
Max earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Hendrix College and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law with a Juris Doctor (J.D.). He has lived in Fayetteville for more than 15 years, where he practices law. Max spent more than a decade serving on the Washington County Election Commission where he helped transform voting access and elections in Washington County.
Max and his wife own a watersports outfitter in Northwest Arkansas which helps people explore rivers and lakes in the area. As a small business owner, Max has firsthand insight into the challenges faced by local entrepreneurs. Seasonally, you can find Max and his family floating the rivers in Arkansas, traveling out West for multi-day raft trips, backpacking the OHT, and generally exploring the outdoors.
